Mama Monster goes nude for the cover of Vanity Fair's September issue. This will probably be the first and last time I buy an issue of this magazine. After all, the woman is stunning. Not many women can sport grey hair and make it look sexy.

On her sex life and celibacy: "I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.”

James McAvoy has signed on to play a young Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, in "X-Men: First Class," which Matthew Vaughn is directing for Fox.

According to Fox, "First Class" will "chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Eric Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were the closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men."

Patrick Stewart played the character, a bald-headed, wheelchair-bound telepath, in the original "X-Men" trilogy. Fox did not reveal if McAvoy will sport a follicle-free pate.

Fox is moving fast on the production, hiring Vaughn in early May and planning a summer start in London. The movie is being planned for a June 3, 2011, release.

Bryan Singer , who conceived the story for "First Class," is producing along with Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.

McAvoy already has comic book movie experience, having starred in " Wanted ." The British actor was last seen in "The Last Station."

So, the month of June is slowly but surely starting to creep up. Before we know it Gay Pride month will be upon us. That means flamboyant pride parades, floats, Drag Queens and all the rainbow glitter covered cock a boy could want. Ah...good times. Unfortunately for me I now live in a shit hole inhabited by nothing but hicks and marines. (No offense...)

The closest thing to a pride event here is actually held in September and will likely involve 20 or so people marching downtown with shitty signs. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it. I will be there letting my freak flag fly. However...Pride in September just isn't the same. I suppose I could celebrate Pride month by myself by strapping a rainbow flag to my ass and marching through the marine base...then again, I don't have a death wish.

Sigh....I guess I will just have to wait and see.

A few months ago I decided to write my memoirs, a project I knew was going to bring me closer to an amazing turning point in my life. From the moment I wrote the first phrase I was sure the book was the tool that was going to help me free myself from things I was carrying within me for a long time. If someone asked me today, “Ricky, what are you afraid of?” I would answer “the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war…child slavery, terrorism…the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith.” But fear of my truth? This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day. To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.
These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.
What will happen from now on? It doesn’t matter. I can only focus on what’s happening to me in this moment. The word “happiness” takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Hot Tub Time Machine

Last weekend I took my family to see Hot Tub Time Machine. We've all been pretty excited to see this movie since seeing the trailer for it a few months ago. I'm happy to say that the HTTM didn't disappoint.

The film begins by introducing you to it's four main characters. Adam (played by John Cusack), Nick (played by Craig Robinson, who is hilarious as always), Lou (portrayed by Rob Corddry) and Adam's nephew Jacob (played by Clark Duke).

In a strange turn of events Adam, Nick and Lou reunite and decide to visit a cabin where they had the time of their lives in the 80's. Adam brings his nephew along and once they arrive there they see that the cabin is not exactly what they were expecting. Dissapointed, the men enter the Hot Tub and get completely shit faced. They wake up the next morning to find that they have travelled back in time to a particular weekend in 1986.

This is the point where the film truly starts to shine.For those of you who enjoyed The Hangover, go see this movie. It's filled with hilarious jokes, gags and of course, 80's humor. There were moments when the crowd literally roared with laughter! Even my conservative Mother was laughing during the "raunchy" moments.
It was also nice to see Cusack showing off his funny side. This was a much lighter role for him and I enjoyed it. However, Rob Carddry was the star of this film by far. He had some of the most quotable lines I've heard in a long time. Chevy Chase also has a few cameos in the film. As far as eye candy goes...well you get to see Rob Corddry's ass several times. Whether or not you'll enjoy that really depends on your taste in men.

My family and I loved this movie. If you are feeling like watching a comedy, grab your friends and go see Hot Tub Time Machine.

Katherine Heigl is officially leaving "Grey's Anatomy." The actress shared the decision with Entertainment Weekly, saying "I'm done. We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on."

"It's sad but it's what I wanted," she adds, confirming reports that have been circulating for the last year.

The newly brunette actress is known for grumbling about the show, and was especially outspoken about her close friend T.R. Knight's departure and about the 17-hour workdays. Rumors also circulated that she wanted to move on to a more lucrative film career (she's currently working on "Killers" with Ashton Kutcher), but Heigl says her priorities shifted after adopting a daughter, Naleigh, last year.

"I started a family and it changed everything for me," she told EW. "It changed my desire to work full time."

Heigl was supposed to return to the show after three months of maternity leave, but instead worked with series creator Shonda Rhimes and was released from her contract 18 months early.

"I know I'm disappointing the fans," she told the magazine, which hits stands on Friday. "I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one."

That decision means that instead of appearing in five final episodes, viewers have already seen the last of her character, Izzie, on the show.

Alright so...where my gay nerds at? Here is an update on the third Transformers film, which is still in the works. Many of you will be happy to know that Spielberg is back for this project. As of right now the film is scheduled to be released on July 1, 2011.

Hey, it's been a long time since I've posted. Just been a little busy.
Transformers 3 has been going very well. We are going to shoot in LA, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow, and China. On the talent front, we just locked in Frances McDormand and John Malkovich. Both amazing actors I've always wanted to work with. We also just got Ken Jeong, he is the super funny actor stuck in the trunk from “Hangover” and the Doctor from “Knocked Up.”

We start shooting pre-shoots in about one month.

I also was at a Ferrari charity event this week raising money for a hospital being built by Ferrari in Haiti. I announced that night the newest Autobot to join Transformers: the Ferrari 458 Italia.

I also want to thank everyone on this site that donated to the Make -A-Wish charity. We raised $20,000 which I will personally be matching. This is a great charity where they make wishes come true for kids who are very ill. We have had many Kids from Make-A-Wish visit us on our Transformers sets and this time we will be posting video of their visits on Transformers 3.

The 'Baby By Me' rapper said he wants to leave hip-hop behind and has already started to record a dance album - with the working title 'Black Magic' - inspired by club music he's heard while touring Europe.
50 said: "I went to a nightclub after party. It was different music after a while. The music they were playing before they were playing the music I created was more up-tempo, more dance.
"I wanted to make a song like that, so I went into the studio. Because I'm travelling with my live band, I took the band with me and we sequenced it and recorded the actual record while we was out there."
50 also explained how he hopes the new record will show his full diversity as an artist to people.
He added: "I won't allow myself to be placed in a box where I can only do one style, or do one kind of music.
"They should expect the unexpected on this one. If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music and different styles, for the people who have various tastes in music, they'll really like it."

The Crazies

Yesterday I decided to take my sister to the movies, since the movie theater is pretty much the most exciting thing about this annoying little place. We were in the mood for a horror flick so we decided to check out The Crazies.

The Crazies is a remake of the 1973 film of the same name, which I have not seen so I can make no comparisons to the original...so bear with me.

Sheriff David Dutton, who is played by Timothy Olyphant, and his wife Judy are citizens of a small town in Iowa called Ogden Marsh. They live decidedly ordinary lives as respected members of the community. Until one day during a high school baseball game Sheriff Dutton is forced to shoot and kill a man who enters the outfield weilding a shotgun. Meanwhile his wife Judy, the town doctor, begins to notice strange behavior in some of her patients. The town is turned upside down as more unusual events take place and Sheriff Duton discovers a crashed plane that has released a deadly toxin into the towns water supply. The infected town folk become increasingly violent, killing their friends and neighbors. The film follows David and his wife Judy, as well as two companions, as they try to escape the town they know and love, avoiding the infected as well as the U.S. military along the way.

Alright, so that was my brief summary of the film. I tried to keep it somewhat vague so as not to spoil the film.
I thought the movie was actually pretty good. I really enjoy this type of shit. Post apocalyptic films and tales of deadly viruses contaminating the Earth. It's entertaining stuff. This film didn't disappoint in that aspect. But did it deliver the frights that we expect from a horror film? Yes and no. There were a few moments that literally had me biting my nails in nervous anticipation and I may have jumped once or twice involuntarily...but most of the "scary moments" weren't actually scary at all. Most of the fear was in the anticipation. That creepy moment just before something scary happens that has you gripping at your seat...waiting.

That being said, I would recommend seeing this film...at home. Rent it when it becomes available on DVD, go home, wait until dark, shut off all the lights and enjoy the film.
Oh, and as far as eye candy goes, Timothy Olyphant is enough of a hunk to keep you satisfied. I do love a man in uniform...sigh.

Today my family and I went to see Alice In Wonderland in digital 3-D. The film was directed by Tim Burton, who is a fucking visionary, so I pretty much knew I'd love it right from the start.

It was fun watching the characters I loved as a child being brought to new life. Helena Bonham Carter portrayed the Red Queen flawlessly. However the star of the film, of course, was Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter. He was magnificent, but then...when isn't he?

The critics may not have taken well to the film but I found it enchanting and visually stunning. Go see it as soon as possible, oh, and yes, the 3-D effects are worth the extra bucks. Beginning Wednesday, May 18 in Phoenix, Arizona, “Glee” stars will perform in a singing and dancing celebration of the Golden Globe Award winning show.

When In Rome

Another Valentine's Day has come and gone. Thank God. That wretched holiday does nothing but remind me that I'm single.(I probably wouldn't detest V-day so much if I had a man...but fuck it.) And to make matters worse, my family and I went to go see a romantic comedy. We saw "When In Rome" starring Kristen Bell, who you may recognize from Heroes, and Josh Duhamel. The film also stars the dude from Napoleon Dynamite and Danny Devitto. Which spurs the question, what the fuck happened to Mr. Devitto's career?

Anyway, the film was good for what it was. The story line was laughable but at least managed to be original. It was cute and, at times, extremely funny.The scene with the tiny yellow car had the audience in stitches.

There were a few moments that I think the movie would have benefited without. Odd scenes attempting to be touching that instead felt awkward and other scenes that seemed to drag on for far too long.

The cast was great though. The two leads seemed to have a very natural chemistry that was a delight to watch. Kristen Bell is adorable and a bit quirky. I've been a fan of hers ever since Veronica Mars.

One downside of the film is that Josh Duhamel didn't take his shirt off. Not even once.
NOT EVEN ONCE!

Over all I enjoyed this film but I can't say I loved it. I suggest renting it when it gets released on DVD. Save the ticket cost and use it to see something a little more worth your dime...like Avatar!

Alexander McQueen Found Dead

The British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead at his London home at the age of 40.His body was discovered at his property in Green Street, in the West End, shortly after 10am today. Paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A postmortem has been scheduled but police said his death was not being treated as suspicious. They would not comment on reports he had killed himself.
A spokeswoman for McQueen said: "Mr McQueen was found dead this morning at his home. We're devastated and I hope you understand that out of respect to his family and his colleagues we're not going to be making any further statement."
The death comes days before the start of London fashion week and a month before the designer was to unveil his new collection at Paris fashion week.
His family asked for privacy to come to terms with the death of McQueen, whose first name was Lee.
His company, Alexander McQueen, issued a statement saying: "On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family."
"Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this."
Alexandra Shulman, the editor of British Vogue, said McQueen had influenced a whole generation of designers. "His brilliant imagination knew no bounds as he conjured up collection after collection of extraordinary designs," she said.
"At one level he was a master of the fantastic, creating astounding fashion shows that mixed design, technology and performance and on another he was a modern-day genius whose gothic aesthetic was adopted by women the world over. His death is the hugest loss to anyone who knew him and for very many who didn't."
Born in London in 1969 as the youngest of six children, McQueen left school at the age of 16 and was offered an apprenticeship at the traditional Savile Row tailors Anderson and Shephard, then at neighbouring Gieves and Hawkes.
At 20 he was employed by the designer Koji Tatsuno. A year later McQueen travelled to Milan where he worked as a design assistant to Romeo Gigli. He returned to London in 1994 where he completed a master's degree in fashion design at Central St Martins College. His degree collection was famously bought in its entirety by Isabella Blow, a leading figure in the fashion world who died in 2007.
In less than 10 years McQueen became one of the most respected fashion designers in the world. In October 1996 he was appointed chief designer at the French label Givenchy where he worked until March 2001.
In December 2000, 51% of Alexander McQueen was acquired by luxury brand Gucci, where he became creative director. Expansion followed and included the opening of flagship stores in New York, London and Milan.
McQueen was a four-time winner of the British designer of the year award as well as the international designer of the year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. He was awarded the CBE in 2003.

A couple days ago my family and I went to see "Dear John."

There isn't much else to do in this shit town other than go to the movies and visit the mall. Don't even get me started on the mall...

Anyway, the movie was good. I'm not saying it was a fantastic film or anything but chances are it will tug on your heart strings...at least a little. There were people in the theater who were literally bawling! The woman next to me was clinging to her husband and crying into his shoulder.

There I am sipping on my Cherry cola and this woman next to me is bawling like "Desperate Housewives" just got canceled or something. Come on girl, pull yourself together.

This film isn't your typical love story. Amanda Seyfried was wonderful in this film. I was pretty surprised, I still remember her as the chick from "Mean Girls" who could sense when it was raining by caressing her boobs.Oh, and the chick who made out with Megan Fox in that that shitty excuse for a horror film. She's come a long way. Channing Tatum was excellent too. Normally I find him to be a little bland when it comes to acting. Some of the more recent films that he has done haven't really show cased how talented the man really is. He's more than just eye candy. I'm serious. This film has given him his moment to shine. However, I'm sure most of you could care less about Channing Tatum's acting skills so let me give you another reason to see this film.

How 'bout them apples?

The man is beautiful. What more reason do you need to see this movie?

Taylor Lautner to play Stretch Armstrong

Taylor Lautner has been cast in the title role of "Stretch Armstrong," Universal Pictures confirmed to Access Hollywood.
"The Twilight Saga" star will take on the role of the rubbery hero based on the Hasbro toy. The 3-D film will be released in 2012.

"In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power," Universal Pictures co-chairman Donna Langley said in a statement to Access. "We couldn't be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch."
But the busy young actor won't have to stretch his schedule too much to take on the role.

The film's 2012 release is geared toward allowing him time to work on his previously announced projects - the title role in "Max Steel" as well as the films "Northern Lights" and "Cancun," a film centered on his martial-arts skills. A final film - or potentially two films - based on "Breaking Dawn," the fourth book in "The Twilight Saga," has yet to be made official.

Resident Evil 5 came out last March to widely positive reviews, with critics praising your ability to unleash deadly haymakers on zombies, alligators, and even boulders. Nearly a year later, Capcom is still at it with a pair of upcoming downloadable episodes that seek to shed some light on the events that were only alluded to in Resident Evil 5's main narrative. (In other words: Those alligators can finally rest easy.) Dubbed Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape, these episodes will be released first as downloadable content, then bundled with the original game shortly after that when Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition arrives in stores. We recently played through select chapters from both, and though you'll have to wait a bit for our impressions of Desperate Escape, here's what you can expect from Lost in Nightmares.

If you played Resident Evil 5, you may recall the flashback sequence when Chris Redfield tells Sheva about the fight he had with Albert Wesker back in the Spencer Mansion. This fight is memorable for two things: the mighty choke slam Wesker delivers to Chris, and the fact that it ends with Jill Valentine and Wesker crashing through a window into almost certain doom. Lost in Nightmares will tell the story of the events leading up to that pivotal choke slam (and the subsequent potential deaths of two primary characters) as you assume control of Chris and Jill through the treacherous Spencer Mansion.
I played through a chapter that had me and my teammate working our way through a prison--what mansion is complete without one?--while occasionally dealing with anchor-wielding maniacs popping out of jail cells and crumbling walls. While not as massive as, say, the executioner you meet early on in RE5, these guys were every bit as intimidating due to the fact that their anchors could kill us with a single hit. It was a tense scene made even tenser by the relatively scarce amount of ammo and green herbs scattered around.

Lost in Nightmares is meant to look and play like Resident Evils of old, back when you had to maneuver your way through dank indoor corridors rather than brightly lit African villages. This prison sequence had that vintage Resident Evil feel to it, with narrow, curving hallways leading you toward suspicious groaning sounds and doorways that could only be opened after finding the requisite puzzle pieces. There was also an element of isolation, too, because those anchor guys were the only enemies we encountered--it was mostly atmospheric tension, dimly lit pathways, and an overwhelming sense of dread over what might be around the next corner. This, combined with RE5's cooperative mechanics (assist jumps, sharing items, and the like), made for a pretty interesting experience.

At $4.99 on the PlayStation Network and 400 Microsoft points on Xbox Live Marketplace, Lost in Nightmares is fairly cheap by DLC standards. According to Capcom, you can expect to get about an hour and a half to two hours' worth of play time from each episode depending on your skill level and playing style. The DLC will arrive February 17 on the Xbox 360 and a day later on the PlayStation 3, while Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (which won't be impacted by the delay of a similar package in Japan) will hit a bit later on March 9.

I would love nothing more than for this to be true. I could care less about the fact that he could be pushing 30 when this movie begins production...I'll get past it because JGL is adorable and him playing Peter Parker would just rock my little geeky world. I;m not sure if this would be the best career move for him though, considering how successful 500 Days Of Summer was. Let's just forget he was ever in G.I. Joe....

I saw this yesterday with my sister. I have to say it was good and very, very funny. Mr. Cera is awkwardly adorable as he always is…though his character in this film seemed to have a bit of a split personality. I guess it was more of a rebellious alter ego…but this alter ego came with a pencil thin mustache and a constant cigarette. Go see it, it’s all about the boys struggle to get laid. Oh, and Justin Long is in it…do you need more reason to go out and see this film?
